24-Inch Round Gold Wall Clock

The Gears Clock AMERICA is a 24-inch round wall clock with a gold finish and wood construction. Its analog face displays Roman numerals and features real moving gears that create a gentle mechanical motion. The clock requires three AA batteries, one for the timekeeping mechanism and two for the gear movement. It suits industrial, steampunk, vintage and farmhouse interiors.

Suits Decor-Focused Buyers, Not Precision Users

This clock fits buyers who want a large decorative centrepiece with visible kinetic movement for living rooms, offices or commercial spaces. It is not for those who need silent operation, an alarm function or a compact profile under 20 inches. The moving gears produce an audible sound that may disturb quiet environments.

Real Moving Gears Require Extra Batteries

The defining specification is the real moving gear mechanism powered by two dedicated AA batteries separate from the clock movement. If you want a purely static decorative clock or a silent timepiece, this gear-driven design is not the right choice.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-inch round gold clock overwhelm a smaller vintage shelf clock I keep nearby?

At 24 inches the clock is a large statement piece, so plan wall spacing to let both timepieces be seen without visual crowding.

How can I confirm the real moving gears are running correctly after I hang it?

Insert three AA batteries — one for the time movement and two for the gear motor — then watch the gears rotate smoothly and listen for the soft mechanical sound.

Does the box include the three AA batteries the clock needs, or must I buy them separately?

Batteries are not included; you will need to supply three AA cells before the clock and its moving gears will operate.
