Speaker baffle kit

The Install Bay IBSBF65 is a two-piece speaker baffle kit made for 6.5 inch car speakers. It uses a new silicone design with egg wave foam to seal the speaker against the interior panel. The foldable ring adapts to different mounting depths without trimming or cutting. This accessory improves directional sound flow into the cabin and adds waterproof protection.

Installers wanting a fast, sealed fit

The kit suits anyone fitting 6.5 inch speakers who wants a tidy, sealed installation without custom fabrication. It helps direct sound into the cabin and protects the driver from moisture. Builders using speakers larger or smaller than 6.5 inch cannot use these baffles. Installers who prefer rigid plastic or MDF rings should look at other designs.

6.5 inch speaker compatibility

The baffles are built specifically for 6.5 inch speaker frames. The foldable silicone ring stretches or compresses to match varying door panel depths. No cutting is required during installation. This single dimension decides whether the kit fits the speakers in the vehicle.

Questions about this item

Do the IBSBF65 baffles create extra heat or noise when the speakers run all day?

The baffles are passive silicone and foam rings with no electronics, so they add no heat, no fan noise and draw zero power.

What else must I already own for the IBSBF65 kit to work?

You need a pair of 6.5 inch speakers and a suitable mounting location in the vehicle door or panel.

Will the foldable ring on the IBSBF65 seal properly against an older, uneven door panel?

The foldable ring adjusts to different depths and the egg-wave foam conforms to irregular surfaces for a tight seal.
