MagConnect Desk Stand Overview

The Joy Factory MMU111 is a carbon fiber desk stand designed for MagConnect tablet holders and cases. It provides a stable platform for iPad use in desktop, browsing and video scenarios. The stand folds completely for transport between office and home settings. Its MagConnect interface allows quick attachment and removal of compatible holders.

Who Benefits and Who Does Not

This stand suits users who already own MagConnect tablet holders or cases and want a fixed desktop mounting point. Buyers without MagConnect-compatible holders cannot use the magnetic connection. The single 6-inch arm limits reach compared to multi-arm or clamp-based alternatives.

MagConnect Magnetic Interface

The proprietary MagConnect connection is the sole attachment method between stand and tablet holder. A 360-degree spherical joint at the tablet connection enables portrait-to-landscape rotation without detaching the holder. Compatibility is restricted to MagConnect ecosystem accessories.

Questions about this item

Is the 6-inch arm the only length available for this desk stand?

The stand uses a single 6-inch carbon-fiber arm; no alternative lengths are offered for this model.

What does the 5.69-inch base diameter mean for stability on my desk?

The 5.69-inch circular base provides a broad footprint that keeps the stand steady while you tap, swipe, or type on the mounted tablet.

How does the MagConnect interface work when I want to switch between portrait and landscape?

The MagConnect magnetic lock lets you rotate the attached holder 360 degrees and snap it into either orientation without removing the tablet.
