The King is Watching roguelite kingdom builder

The King is Watching is a roguelite kingdom builder developed by Hypnohead and published by tinyBuild LLC for PC. Players rule through a royal gaze mechanic that activates buildings only while watched. Each run presents unique events and resource challenges. The game releases on 21 July 2025 as a digital download.

Steam platform requirement and activation

Activation requires a third-party Steam account and an internet connection. The product is delivered as a Steam online game code with no physical media. Minimum system requirements are not fully listed in the supplied data. Supported menu languages include English, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

Digital delivery and DRM implications

The downloadable format means no disc, box or printed manual will arrive. Steam DRM ties the licence to the account used for activation. Buyers who want a DRM-free installer or offline play without the client cannot be accommodated by this edition. Collectors seeking physical packaging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which version of The King is Watching should I choose?

Only the standard PC edition is offered, delivered as a Steam code for activation on a Steam account.

What does the July 21, 2025 release date mean for my library?

The game becomes playable on that date; the code activates immediately on Steam but the title unlocks when the launch day arrives.

How does the Steam DRM affect installation and play?

Activation requires a Steam account and the Steam client; after redemption the game downloads and runs only while the Steam service is online.
