Compact 2.0 USB Speaker Set

The Ordinary S100 is a stereo speaker pair powered entirely by a USB connection, delivering 10 W peak output through two 5 W drivers. It suits anyone wanting simple desktop audio without an external power brick. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input adds compatibility with phones, tablets and other analogue sources.

Upgrade from Basic Monitor Audio

Replaces the thin sound built into most laptop or monitor speakers with a noticeable lift in volume and separation. The jump is worth it when you need clearer dialogue in video calls or richer effects in casual gaming but do not require a separate subwoofer or multi-channel system.

10 W Peak Power for Near-Field Listening

Comfortably fills a typical desk space with music, video soundtracks or game audio at moderate levels. Bass response is limited by the compact 7.7 x 9.5 x 17.4 cm cabinets, so deep low-frequency impact runs out quickly at higher volumes or in larger rooms.

Questions about this item

How much desk space do the 7.7 x 9.5 x 17.4 cm speakers need?

Each speaker measures 7.7 cm wide, 9.5 cm deep and 17.4 cm high, so allow roughly 8 cm by 10 cm per unit plus a 1 m cable between them.

Which ports must my device provide for the USB-powered 2.0 set?

Plug the USB cable into any 5 V USB port for power and the 3.5 mm plug into a headphone or line-out jack; both cables are 1.3 m long.

When should I clean the metal grilles on the S100?

Wipe the metal mesh with a dry cloth whenever dust builds up; the grilles protect the 5 W drivers and need no lubrication or replacement parts.
