Two-Pack Cast Net for Bait Fishing

This two-pack supplies two 8-foot cast nets built from strong monofilament nylon with heavy-duty zinc sinkers. Each net features a 0.47 inch mesh and a 1mm main line rated for high strength. The nets are designed for easy hand casting in both fresh water and salt water.

Suited for Anglers Targeting Small Bait Species

The 0.47 inch mesh effectively captures bait fish such as mullet, menhaden, pinfish, shad and threadfin. Anglers needing larger mesh for bigger quarry or a single net rather than a paired set should consider other options.

Eight-Foot Spread with Paired Backup

Each net opens to a 2.4 metre radius, providing ample coverage for schooling bait in shallow to moderate depths. The twin-pack format ensures a spare is on hand if one net tangles or tears during a session.

Questions about this item

What size bait bucket or live well do I need to hold the catch from the 2.4M cast net?

The 0.47 inch mesh targets bait species such as Mullet, Menhaden, Pinfish, Shad and Threadfin, so a standard 5-gallon bucket or small live well will handle the typical 4-10 fish haul.

Can I use the 2.4M net alongside my older 1.8M net without changing throwing technique?

Yes, the 2.4M net uses the same 1mm main line and hand-cast design, so the throwing motion stays familiar while giving you a wider spread.

How do I verify the 2.4M net opens to its full diameter after the first few throws?

Count the sinkers hitting the water in a complete circle; the heavy-duty zinc sinkers should create an even 2.4M spread with no gaps in the 0.47 inch mesh.
