Dashboard Cover for 1999-2006 Silverado Sierra

This dashboard cover fits 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks plus 2000-2006 Avalanche Tahoe Suburban and Yukon models. It is a new polyester mat in black supplied by The Perfect Part. The cover protects the dash surface from sun damage and glare.

Cut-outs preserve A/C vents and sensors

The mat is shaped so that factory air-conditioning vents and dashboard sensors remain fully exposed. No trimming or modification is required to keep climate-control airflow and sensor operation intact. The package includes one cover weighing approximately 12 units.

Polyester material limits heat resistance

Polyester fabric can degrade under prolonged extreme heat inside a parked vehicle. The cover is designed for dashboard protection not for structural reinforcement or spill containment. Buyers who need a fire-retardant rating or waterproof barrier should look for a different product class.

Questions about this item

Does the polyester material need any special cleaning or conditioning to keep it from cracking?

The cover is made of polyester; wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap — no leather conditioners or UV protectants are required.

Will the cover block the dashboard A/C vents or the sunlight sensor on my 2001 Silverado?

The design leaves all A/C vents and sensors uncovered so airflow and automatic climate control work normally.

Does the black polyester get hot enough to warp or emit odour after a full day in the sun?

Polyester withstands typical cabin temperatures; the cover lays flat without warping and does not release noticeable odour during extended sun exposure.
