42 Inch Arc Umbrella

The Weather Station model 1101 is a compact folding rain umbrella with a 42 inch canopy designed for single person coverage. It features an automatic push button opening mechanism and a windproof steel frame with water resistant polyester cover. The lightweight collapsible design makes it easy to pack in a backpack, purse or car for travel and daily use. Suitable for students, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone working in the elements.

Windproof frame under sustained load

The heavy duty steel frame is built to endure windy conditions while keeping the canopy stable. Water resistant coating on the polyester cover repels rain during extended downpours. Automatic opening activates with a single button press so the canopy deploys quickly when weather changes. Materials and construction are chosen for durability during repeated outdoor use.

Check your storage space before ordering

The umbrella collapses to a small portable size but verify your bag, purse or vehicle compartment can accommodate the folded dimensions. Ensure the automatic open button operates freely without obstruction when stored. Confirm the 42 inch arc provides adequate coverage for your intended use such as watching outdoor sports or commuting. Adult sizing only.

Questions about this item

How windproof is the steel frame when the 42-inch Arc canopy is fully open all day?

The steel frame is designed to resist strong gusts while the 42-inch Arc canopy stays open, keeping the umbrella stable during extended use in windy conditions.

What does the buyer need to carry this umbrella hands-free once it is folded?

A backpack, purse, or car storage space is needed to stow the collapsed umbrella, as it folds down small enough to fit inside everyday bags or vehicle compartments.

Will the automatic open button still work reliably if the umbrella is stored in a car for months alongside older gear?

The push-button mechanism is built for repeated use and the water-resistant polyester cover protects the frame, so long-term storage with other equipment does not affect automatic opening.
