Universal Fit for 6.5" Speakers

These 6.5" speaker spacers are designed for car audio installations where the factory mounting depth is too shallow. The pair fits 6-1/2" speakers and adds clearance without modifying the door panel. They suit installers and DIY enthusiasts who need a simple depth solution.

Adds Half-Inch Mounting Depth

Each spacer extends the speaker mounting depth by 1/2" using durable hard plastic construction. The 6.75" outside diameter matches common cut-out dimensions so the spacer sits flush against the mounting surface. No extra hardware or adapters are required beyond the speaker screws.

Passive Component With No Power Draw

The spacers contain no electronics, fans or moving parts so they generate no heat and add no electrical load to the vehicle. They remain acoustically neutral and do not affect speaker cooling or noise levels. Installation is purely mechanical and maintenance-free.

Questions about this item

How much extra depth does the 1/2" spacer add to a 6.5" speaker installation?

The spacer extends the speaker depth by exactly 1/2" to provide additional clearance behind the mounting surface.

Will the hard plastic spacer warp or rattle when the speakers run at high volume for hours?

The durable hard plastic construction resists heat and vibration so the spacer stays rigid and quiet during extended high-output use.

Does the 6.75" outside diameter match the factory cutout for my 6.5" speakers?

The 6.75" OD aligns with standard 6.5" speaker openings so the spacer bolts directly to the existing mounting holes.
