6 Inch Steel Speaker Grill

The Wires Zone 6 Inch Steel Speaker Grill protects 6 inch speakers and subwoofers in car or home audio setups. A waffle style steel mesh shields the cone from impact while allowing sound to pass. Four clips and four screws are included for straightforward mounting. It suits installers who need a durable cover for standard 6 inch drivers.

Sustained protection

The steel construction resists deformation from repeated knocks or pressure during long term use. Mounting clips hold the grill firmly so vibration does not loosen the fit over time. The open mesh pattern maintains airflow to the voice coil during extended playback. It keeps the driver safe without trapping heat.

Fits most 6 inch speakers

This grill is made for 6 inch diameter speakers and woofers only. It will not cover smaller or larger drivers. Buyers with 5 inch or 8 inch units need a different size. Confirm the driver diameter before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the steel waffle grille produce any rattling or vibration noise when the 6-inch subwoofer plays at high volume all day?

The rigid steel construction and four included clips secure the grille tightly to the speaker frame, minimising vibration and eliminating rattling even during extended high-output use.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install this 6-inch speaker grille?

No extra hardware is needed; each grille ships with four screws and four installation clips that attach directly to standard 6-inch speaker mounting holes.

Will this 6-inch steel grille fit the older 6-inch woofers I already own in my car and home audio cabinets?

Yes, the grille is designed to fit most 6-inch speakers and woofers, so it mounts on legacy drivers that use the industry-standard 6-inch cut-out and bolt pattern.
