Minus Pad Advance 4-Pack for SSDs and GPUs
The Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Advance ships as a four-piece set of electrically non-conductive thermal pads. Each pad measures 120 by 20 millimetres with a 3.0 millimetre thickness. The material is designed for SSDs, GPU coolers, water blocks, voltage regulators and memory modules. Builders who need a quick, mess-free interface material for multiple components will find the pack convenient.
Sustained load behaviour and compressibility
The Advance series improves on the Basic line with higher thermal conductivity and greater compressibility. Under continuous load the pads conform to uneven surfaces, maintaining consistent contact between the component and the heatsink. This reduces thermal resistance over long gaming or compute sessions without the pump-out effect sometimes seen with liquid compounds. The non-conductive formulation eliminates the risk of short circuits if material spreads beyond the die.
Check thickness clearance
Verify that your SSD, GPU back-plate or VRM heatsink can accommodate a 3.0 millimetre gap; thinner or thicker gaps will require a different pad height. Confirm that four pieces of the stated 120 by 20 millimetre size cover all target surfaces, as some graphics cards need more or differently shaped pads. The product is not suited for applications that demand the highest conductivity of the Pro series or for gaps outside the specified thickness.

Questions about this item
Does the 3.0 mm thickness compress much when the SSD heats up all day?
The Advance series is engineered with higher compressibility than the Basic pads, so the 3.0 mm material conforms well to uneven surfaces and maintains steady contact during sustained loads.
What else do I need to install these 120 x 20 mm pads on my GPU?
You only need a clean, dry component surface and a tool to cut the sheet to size; no additional adhesive, paste or mounting hardware is required.
Will these black pads work on the older voltage-regulator modules I plan to keep?
Yes — the electrically non-conductive material is designed for legacy VRMs and memory modules as well as modern SSDs and GPU coolers.
