17-inch laptop cooling pad

The Thermaltake Massive TM cooling pad fits laptops up to 17 inches. Dual 120mm fans draw air through a brushed aluminum panel with hexagonal mesh. A multi-function display panel shows readings from four temperature sensors. The unit raises the laptop to a comfortable typing angle.

Dual 120mm temperature-regulated fans

Two 120 x 120 x 18 mm fans run at 1000 RPM with a 1300 RPM turbo mode. They deliver 61.27 CFM airflow at 1.59 mm-H2O static pressure. Fan speed adjusts automatically based on sensor input or manually via the control panel. Noise stays at 31 dBA.

Four-zone temperature monitoring

Adjustable sensors track heat from 0 to 99°C across four laptop zones. The display identifies the hottest spot so cooling targets the right area. Powered by USB at 5V and 0.46 A, the pad adds no external power brick. Buyers needing active cooling for larger 18-inch chassis or liquid-cooled modules should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much difference will 61.27 CFM of airflow make when the pad is under my 17-inch laptop?

The dual 120 mm fans move up to 61.27 CFM at 1.59 mm-H2O static pressure, pushing a strong stream of air through the hexagon mesh directly onto the notebook's intake vents.

What does the 5 V / 0.46 A power rating mean for plugging it in?

It draws 0.46 A at 5 V from a single USB connection, so it runs from any standard USB-A port without an external adapter.

Will the 390 mm by 277.5 mm footprint and 49.3 mm height fit my desk and laptop?

The pad measures 390 mm wide, 277.5 mm deep and 49.3 mm tall, supporting laptops up to 17 inches while raising the rear for a comfortable typing angle.
