Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This system suits gamers and creators who want a ready-to-use machine with a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900KF processor and 32GB of DDR5 memory at 6000 speed. Buyers who want more storage than the single 1TB SSD provides should consider other options. The motherboard supports up to 128GB of memory for future upgrades.

The Deciding Specification

The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. This GPU determines whether the system meets the performance target for 4K gaming or heavy rendering workloads. The card also enables the Virtual Reality Ready designation noted in the specifications.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Thermaltake TH360 ARGB Sync liquid cooler keep the i9-14900KF during all-day loads?

The 360 mm all-in-one liquid cooler is designed to handle the 24-core i9-14900KF inside the white chassis, with ARGB fans that scale speed to CPU temperature.

Does the 850 W power supply include the 12VHPWR cable the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 requires?

Yes, the factory-installed 850 W unit ships with the native 12VHPWR connector for the GeForce RTX 5080, so no adapter is needed.

Will my older Wi-Fi 5 router limit the built-in 802.11ac wireless on the Z790 motherboard?

The desktop uses Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), so it will connect at the router's maximum supported speed without any compatibility issue.
