Two 6.5 Ah LXT batteries

This pair of 18 V lithium-ion packs delivers 6.5 Ah each and includes an on-board LED charge gauge. They are built as direct replacements for Makita LXT slide-type batteries and ship in new condition.

Owners of listed 18 V LXT tools

The batteries fit the extensive range of Makita 18 V models referenced in the compatibility list, covering drills, drivers, saws, grinders and lights. Users of other voltage platforms or tools that require a different pack form factor cannot use these units.

Capacity and voltage match

Each pack supplies 18 V at 6.5 Ah, so the tool and charger must both be rated for 18 V LXT slide-style batteries. If your equipment uses a different voltage or connector, this pair will not work.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2-pack or buy a single 6.5Ah battery?

The 2-pack gives you two 6.5Ah batteries so you can keep one on charge while the other runs your 18V Makita tools.

What does the 6.5Ah rating mean when I am using a drill or driver?

A 6.5Ah pack stores more energy than lower-capacity packs, so an 18V drill or impact driver runs longer between charges.

Does the Makita LXT interface limit the current these 18V packs can deliver?

The LXT slide-style interface fits all listed 18V Makita models and lets each tool draw the current it was designed for.
