What the charger does

The THISS 18V One+ Dual Chemistry Fast Charger P117 replenishes Ryobi 12 V to 18 V lithium-ion, NiCd and NiMH packs. It suits owners of the One+ cordless system who need a single dock for every battery chemistry in the range.

Behaviour under sustained load

Overheat protection halts the charge cycle when the unit reaches its thermal limit, preventing damage during back-to-back charges. Output is 3 A for lithium packs and 2 A for NiCd or NiMH cells across the 12 V to 18 V window.

Deciding specification

The charger accepts input from 100 V to 240 V and delivers 12 V to 18 V at the currents stated above. Buyers whose batteries fall outside the listed Ryobi model numbers or voltage span cannot use this unit.
