Two-pack 6.0 Ah 20 V lithium-ion replacements

This two-pack supplies two 6.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries rated at 20 V. They are built as direct replacements for Porter-Cable PCC685L, PCC680L, PCC681L and the wider 20 V Max cordless range. The cells use lithium-ion chemistry and carry CE certification.

Suits owners of Porter-Cable 20 V Max tools

Buyers who run Porter-Cable 20 V Max drills, drivers, blowers, nailers, oscillating tools or lights will gain longer run time per charge. Users of other voltage platforms or brands cannot use these packs because the mechanical and electrical interface is specific to the Porter-Cable 20 V Max system.

6.0 Ah capacity at 20 V decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 6.0 Ah capacity delivered at 20 V. If your tool and charger are designed for that voltage and accept a 6.0 Ah pack, these batteries will work; if your equipment requires a different voltage or a different amp-hour rating, they will not.

Questions about this item

Should I buy this 2-pack or look for a higher-capacity 20 V lithium option?

These two 6.0 Ah packs give 12 Ah total, matching the runtime of larger single units while keeping each battery light enough for overhead drilling.

Will a 6.0 Ah 20 V pack run my PCC685L drill longer than the original 1.5 Ah battery?

Yes — the 6.0 Ah rating delivers roughly four times the amp-hours, so the same tool runs about four times longer per charge.

Does the 20 V Max slide-style interface limit which Porter-Cable tools I can use these packs with?

The slide pack fits every Porter-Cable 20 V Max tool listed, from PCC600 drills to PCC790 blowers, with no adapter required.
