Charges 12 V–18 V Ryobi lithium, Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries at up to 3 A and adds two USB ports
This fast charger accepts Ryobi 12V and 18V packs across lithium-ion, nickel-cadmium and nickel-metal-hydride chemistries. It delivers 3 A to lithium-ion cells and 2 A to Ni-Cd or Ni-MH packs. Two integrated USB ports let you power phones or other USB devices while a battery charges. The unit operates on 110-260 V mains input.
Lithium-ion packs receive a steady 3 A current and Ni-Cd or Ni-MH packs receive 2 A throughout the charge cycle. The charger maintains these rates without stepping down to a lower trickle current during extended sessions. Output voltage spans 9.6 V to 18 V to match the connected pack. Continuous operation at these levels is supported by the internal regulation circuit.
The charger only works with the listed Ryobi battery models; other brands or voltages will not fit or charge correctly. USB ports share the same power budget, so simultaneous fast charging of a battery and a high-draw USB device may reduce the current available to either output. Input voltage must stay within the 110-260 V range.

The unit accepts 110–260 V input and delivers up to 3 A for lithium-ion or 2 A for Ni-Cd/Ni-MH packs, so power draw scales with the battery being charged rather than running at a fixed high level.
It supports Ryobi 12 V and 18 V lithium-ion packs such as P102–P109, P122, P161, P162, P164, P189–P194, P197 plus 18 V Ni-Cd and Ni-MH models including P100, P101 and the BPP/ABP series listed.
Yes — the charger handles both chemistries at 9.6–18 V output, so legacy 12 V Ni-Cd packs and current 18 V lithium-ion packs can be charged on the same unit.
