90° Copper Lug for 250 kcmil Cable
This Thomas & Betts compression lug accepts stranded copper conductors up to 250 kcmil and terminates them with a single 3/8 in stud hole. The barrel carries a yellow colour code and die code 62 for quick identification during installation.
Fits Standard Crimp Tools and Panel Layouts
The 90° tongue angle routes the conductor parallel to the mounting surface, saving space in tight enclosures or wireways. A 1.09 in tongue width and one-hole pattern suit standard bus-bar or equipment-pad drilling, while the inspection hole lets you verify full conductor insertion before energising.
Rated for Continuous 194 °F Operation at 35 kV
Copper construction and CSA / UL E9809 certification support sustained loads at the full 35 kV AC rating and a maximum operating temperature of 194 °F. The standard barrel diameter of .2 in maintains consistent crimp performance cycle after cycle without derating.

Questions about this item
What maximum temperature can this lug withstand before it degrades?
The lug is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 194 degrees Fahrenheit.
How much heat does this connector generate when carrying full load continuously?
As a passive copper compression lug it produces no heat of its own; temperature rise depends entirely on the conductor current and installation quality.
What size crimping die must I already own to install this lug?
The lug uses die code 62, so a matching 62-series compression die is required for a proper crimp.
