12-pack 6-inch 5CCT LED recessed kit

This 12-pack of 6-inch ultra-thin LED recessed lights includes integrated junction boxes for canless installation. Each fixture delivers 1050 lumens at 12 watts, replacing a 110-watt halogen equivalent. The 5CCT switch offers 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K colour temperatures. ETL and FCC certified for 120-volt indoor use.

Suits whole-home retrofits; not for wet zones

Ideal for contractors or homeowners updating multiple rooms with a consistent, dimmable 5%-100% dimming range. The IC-rated design allows direct insulation contact and fits in ceilings with minimal depth. Damp-rated for bathrooms and basements, but not for direct water spray or standing water. Buyers needing waterproof fixtures for showers or exterior soffits should look elsewhere.

1050 lumens at 12 watts per fixture

Each light produces 1050 lumens while drawing only 12 watts, yielding roughly 90% energy savings versus 110-watt halogen. The aluminium housing is rated for 50,000 hours of operation. This lumen-per-watt figure is the key metric for comparing brightness and efficiency against other 6-inch modules.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 12-watt ultra-thin fixture produce when it runs all day?

The aluminum housing is designed for heat dissipation and the IC rating means the junction box is thermally protected for direct contact with insulation.

What existing wiring or controls must the house already have for these lights to operate?

A 120-volt circuit and a compatible dimmer from the manufacturer's adaptable dimmer list are required for the 5-percent-to-100-percent dimming function.

Will the spring clips hold securely in the older plaster ceilings I am keeping?

The spring-clip mounting works with the 1-to-1 hole template cut into the existing ceiling material, needing only two inches of clearance above.
