Three-pack rechargeable night lights

This three-pack of Thomasville Lighting A5138 night lights provides battery-powered illumination for indoor spaces. Each unit uses a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable cell that charges via USB in about three hours. The LED source delivers a dimmable range from 2 to 80 lumens with a 2700K colour temperature. Motion sensing activates the light in darkness for 30 seconds when movement is detected.

Suited to hallways and staircases

The lights suit hallways, stairs, closets and bathrooms where temporary hands-free light is wanted after dark. A 150-degree detection angle and 10 to 13 foot range cover typical passage widths. The memory function recalls the last brightness level used. Buyers needing water-resistant fixtures or hard-wired permanent installations should look at other products. The acrylic construction is not rated for outdoor exposure.

1500mAh battery determines runtime

The single specification that decides suitability is the 1500mAh capacity. At maximum 80-lumen output the charge lasts around nine hours; at minimum 2-lumen output it extends to roughly 180 hours. A full recharge requires approximately three hours over USB. Choose this pack if those run-times match the intended daily usage pattern.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The three-pack includes an instruction manual and one USB cable; the lights charge from any standard 5 V USB port so no extra charger is required.

How do I choose between the five preset brightness levels and the stepless dimming range?

Short-press the brightness button to cycle through 2, 20, 40, 60 or 80 lumens; long-press for continuous adjustment anywhere between 2 and 80 lumens.

What does the 1500 mAh battery actually deliver once the light is mounted?

A full three-hour charge runs the light for about 9 hours at maximum 80 lumen output or up to 180 hours at the minimum 2 lumen setting.
