Rechargeable Ceiling Light Kit

The Thomasville Lighting B-GYD013-1B is a battery-operated LED light kit designed for indoor spaces without wiring. Its 15000mAh lithium-ion battery provides 24-30 hours of continuous light or 60-90 days in motion-sensing mode. The fixture mounts on a magnetic iron base for quick attachment and removal.

3CCT and RGB Colour Control

This light replaces fixed-colour fixtures by offering 3000K, 4500K and 6500K white settings plus RGB colour changing. The jump is worth it when you need adjustable ambience for closets, hallways or shower areas. A remote control manages colour, brightness, motion sensitivity and timer presets from 0.5 to 6 hours.

Magnetic Base and USB Charging

Installation uses the supplied iron mounting base with two screws; the light body then snaps on magnetically for tool-free removal. Charging takes 7-8 hours via Micro-USB at 5V/2A, indicated by red and green LEDs. The 7.87inch diameter suits standard junction boxes but requires a flat surface for the base plate.

Questions about this item

What ceiling opening or surface area does the 7.87in diameter light cover?

The light measures 7.87in in diameter and 1.3in thick, so it covers a circular footprint of roughly 7.87in across when surface-mounted.

How do I attach the iron mounting base so the magnetic light stays secure?

Screw the supplied iron base into the ceiling using the two included screws, then let the light's built-in magnets snap onto the base; the magnetic hold is the only mechanical connection.

How often will I need to recharge the 15000mAh battery in motion-sensor mode?

In motion-sensor mode the battery lasts 60 to 90 days per charge; expect to recharge roughly four to six times a year depending on traffic.
