What the kit includes

The Thomasville Lighting CL-01 is a magnetic ceiling light kit built around an 8000mAh rechargeable battery and a responsive motion sensor. It is designed for anyone who needs wireless illumination in closets, showers, stairways, pantries, sheds, hallways, garages or covered porches where wiring is impractical. The single white acrylic fixture measures 7.48 by 7.48 by 0.55 inches and weighs 0.44 kilograms.

Accessories that change the install

The package contains one adhesive metal strip and a USB-C charging cable alongside the remote control. The strong built-in magnet lets you snap the light directly onto any ferrous surface, while the metal plate extends magnetic mounting to wood, tile or drywall without drilling. The remote switches between Day Mode, Night Mode and Always-On Mode, adjusts three colour temperatures and dimming levels, and sets an auto-off timer from a distance.

What to verify before ordering

The supplier notes the unit is not water resistant, so exposed outdoor locations should be avoided. Motion detection reaches 20 feet and the light extinguishes after 20 seconds of no activity; confirm that range and timeout suit the intended space. Battery life spans 30 to 60 days in sensor mode or 20 to 25 hours in always-on mode per charge, so consider recharge access. Remember to move the black power switch from OFF to ON before first use.

Questions about this item

How often will the 8000mAh battery need recharging under normal use?

In sensor mode the light runs 30-60 days per charge; in always-on mode it lasts 20-25 hours before you must plug in the USB-C cable.

What limits continuous brightness during extended use?

The 8000mAh cell caps always-on output at 20-25 hours; after that the unit must be recharged before it can produce light again.

How much heat or noise does the fixture produce when left on all day?

The LED panel runs silently and stays cool to the touch; only the 0.44 kg acrylic housing warms slightly during the 20-25 hour always-on cycle.
