What it is and who it's for

A 20ft RGB LED light kit designed for indoor TV backlighting on screens from 32 to 80 inches. It suits viewers who want bias lighting to reduce eye strain and gamers seeking reactive colour effects synced to audio.

The deciding specification

Powered by a 5 volt USB connection, the strip draws power directly from a TV, monitor, laptop or power bank and switches on or off with the host device. No separate mains adapter is required.

How it fits a build

The roll includes double-sided tape for mounting on smooth, dry surfaces behind a TV, monitor, desk or sofa. A remote and the MoHuan LED app provide 16 million colours, 21 dynamic modes, music-sync via a built-in microphone and timer functions — all controlled without extra wiring.

Questions about this item

How much LED coverage does the 20ft roll give on a 32-80 inch TV?

The 20ft strip provides enough length to run around the perimeter of TVs from 32 to 80 inches, with 5050 LEDs spaced at 20 per metre for consistent backlighting.

What does the USB 5V power limit mean for brightness and sync features?

Running at 5 volts from a TV USB port caps the draw to the port's current rating, so maximum brightness and music-sync responsiveness stay within that power envelope.

What surface preparation and clearance does the acrylic strip need to mount securely?

Clean the TV back to a smooth, dry finish, press the double-sided tape gently along the full 20ft length without pressing the LED beads, and keep the indoor-only acrylic strip away from moisture.
