Indoor accent lighting kit

The Thomasville Lighting GDSF001 kit includes two wireless LED spotlights designed for indoor accent tasks such as highlighting plants, artwork or wall decor. Each unit weighs 0.415 kilograms and measures 8.3 by 8.3 by 6.7 centimetres. The lights are powered by integrated 3000mAh rechargeable batteries and operate at 5 volts with a 5-watt draw.

Sustained output and battery behaviour

On a full charge the spotlights deliver up to 35 hours at the cool 6500K setting, 60 hours at 3000K or 4500K, and up to one month when run at the 10% minimum brightness. Stepless dimming from 10% to 100% is controlled by a long press on the remote or the onboard button. A complete USB-C recharge takes roughly 4 hours.

Magnetic mount and common install issues

Each spotlight attaches via a strong magnetic backing; adhesive pads and screws are also supplied for non-magnetic surfaces. The head rotates 360° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically for precise aiming. The lights detach from the mount for charging, so the mounting surface must remain accessible. The product is not water resistant and is rated for indoor use only.

Questions about this item

How warm does the 5 W LED get when the spotlight runs all day on battery?

At only 5 watts the LED stays cool to the touch even after hours of continuous use; the acrylic housing and low power draw keep heat minimal.

Does the magnetic mount need a metal surface or can I use the supplied adhesive pads on painted drywall?

The strong magnetic backing works on ferrous surfaces, and the included adhesive pads plus screws let you mount on painted drywall, wood or tile without extra hardware.

Can the remote control both lights in the 2-pack at once, or must each be paired separately?

One remote controls both spotlights simultaneously — point it at either unit to change colour temperature, brightness or timer settings for the pair.
