Under-Cabinet LED Kit for Kitchen and Wardrobe

The Thomasville Lighting GLS-C013 is a 14.5 inch surface-mounted light bar with 63 LEDs and a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable battery. It suits kitchens, drawers, wardrobes and stairs where wiring is impractical and a portable, dimmable fixture is preferred. The acrylic body carries a white finish with clear prismatic glass for even indoor or outdoor illumination.

Magnetic Mounting with Adhesive Plate Option

A built-in magnet lets the bar snap directly onto metal surfaces, while included adhesive iron plates allow installation on wood, tile or plastic without drilling. The USB-C port reaches full charge in 3 hours; the only common issue is forgetting to recharge after extended constant-on use, which drains the battery in 8 to 10 hours.

Motion-Activated Runtime Up to 60 Days

In auto mode the PIR sensor detects movement within 10 feet across a 120° angle and switches off 20 seconds after activity stops, delivering roughly 60 days per charge at nine triggers daily. Sustained output at 30%, 60% or 100% brightness runs 8 to 10 hours continuously, so the light handles long tasks but requires periodic recharging for permanent installations.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the motion sensor is detecting movement correctly after I mount the 14.5 inch light?

In auto mode the 63 LED unit should illuminate when motion enters the 10 foot, 120° detection zone and extinguish 20 seconds after the area is clear.

What does the package contain and is anything else required for installation?

The kit includes the 14.5 inch LED bar, adhesive iron plates for non‑magnetic surfaces, and a USB‑C charging cable; no tools or separate hardware are needed.

Which brightness setting should I select for a kitchen counter that needs about 200 lum?

Use the 100 % level for maximum output of 200 lum; choose 60 % or 30 % when less intensity is preferred.
