Smart Ceiling Light 12 Inch

The Thomasville Lighting H60A1 is a flush-mount LED fixture that combines a main RGB+WW panel with an RGBIC back-light. It produces up to 2400 lumens and a tunable colour temperature of 2700K to 6500K. Control is handled through Alexa voice commands or the Govee Home App over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The unit weighs 1.32 kilograms and measures 30 by 30 by 3 centimetres.

Buyers Who Want App Scenes And Rhythm Lighting

This kit suits anyone who wants programmable scenes, music sync and circadian rhythm automation without an external dimmer switch. It is not for installations that require a hard-wired wall dimmer or a smart wall switch, because the manufacturer notes incompatibility with those devices. Buyers needing Matter protocol support or a larger 15 or 18 inch diameter should look at other models.

2400 Lumens For Medium Rooms

At full output the fixture delivers 2400 lumens, which comfortably illuminates a typical bedroom or living area up to around 20 square metres. The 1 percent minimum dimming level provides subtle accent lighting for night-time use. Spaces that demand significantly higher lumen counts, such as large open-plan kitchens or workshops, will find the headroom limited.

Questions about this item

Does the H60A1 need a neutral wire and a 120-volt junction box for flush-mount installation?

Yes, it is a corded-electric fixture rated for 120 volts and designed for indoor flush mounting, so a standard junction box with a neutral conductor is required.

Can I keep my existing wall dimmer or smart switch and still use the H60A1's 1 %–100 % dimming and 2700 K–6500 K tuning?

No, the manufacturer states the light is not compatible with external dimmer switches or smart switches; all dimming and colour-temperature changes must be done through the Govee Home App or Alexa voice commands.

After pairing the 12-inch H60A1 to Wi-Fi, how do I confirm the main RGB+WW LEDs and the back RGBIC ring are both responding?

Open the Govee Home App, select a music or scene mode that uses both zones — such as one of the 71 built-in scenes — and verify the front panel shifts through 2700 K–6500 K white while the rear ring cycles through its 16-million-colour palette independently.
