Smart Ceiling Light for Medium Rooms

This 12 inch flush mount fixture delivers up to 2400 lumens from a 24 watt LED array, covering bedrooms or living rooms around 15 to 20 square metres. It combines an RGBWW main panel with an RGBIC backlight for both tunable white and multicolour effects. Control is handled through the Govee app, Alexa, Google Assistant or any Matter controller. The unit weighs 1.451 kilograms and mounts on a supplied bracket.

Brightness Headroom and Colour Range

At full output the light reaches 2400lm, dimmable down to 1 percent, while colour temperature spans 2700K to 6500K for warm to cool white scenes. The RGBIC backlight adds 16 million colours across individually addressable segments, supported by more than 70 built-in scene modes. A 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi plus BLE radio enables scheduling, timers and music sync without a separate hub. External dimmer switches and smart switches are not compatible.

Build, Mounting and Daily Use

The square acrylic diffuser sits in a white polycarbonate frame backed by 5VA flame retardant mounting hardware measuring 32 by 32 by 7.5 centimetres. Corded electric installation requires a standard junction box and the included backplate. The Govee app must be version 6.6.2 or newer for full feature access. Rated for indoor use only, the fixture suits dry locations such as hallways, offices or bedrooms.

Questions about this item

Will the 2400lm flush-mount fixture work on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as my older smart bulbs?

Yes, the light connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so it can share the network with other 2.4GHz devices.

How can I confirm the RGBWW main light and RGBIC backlight are both responding after installation?

Open the Govee app (version 6.6.2 or later) and run a scene mode; the main panel and segmented backlight should change colour independently.

Does the package include the mounting bracket and backplate, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains the 12-inch square fixture, a 5VA flame-retardant backplate and the mounting bracket — no extra hardware is required.
