Product identity

The Thomasville Lighting L-12S is a ceiling-mount LED light kit that projects disco and sunset effects for indoor or outdoor gatherings. It draws only 3 watts at 240 volts and includes a remote control for sound-activated or manual operation. The unit weighs 0.649 kilograms and measures 6.5 in x 4.8 in x 6.3 in.

Who it suits

Party hosts, DJs and home decorators who want instant colour-changing projections with sound-activated strobe modes will find this kit simple to set up and operate. Buyers needing high-output architectural lighting, DMX integration or battery-powered portability should look elsewhere.

Capacity and headroom

Three 1-watt RGB LEDs cover a typical living-room wall or dance-floor area with vivid patterns and UV accents. The 120-inch USB-C cable gives generous placement freedom, while the 3-watt draw leaves ample headroom on any standard circuit. Very large venues or daylight-bright requirements will exceed its output.

Questions about this item

What power supply does the L-12S need to operate?

The L-12S runs on 100-240 V AC mains via the included USB-C cable and adapter; it draws only 3 watts and is not rechargeable.

Will the L-12S remote interfere with older IR devices I already use?

The remote controls colour, strobe, speed and motor pause for this unit only; it does not transmit codes that affect other IR equipment.

How can I confirm the sound-activated mode is responding to music?

In sound mode the LEDs flash and change colour in time with the beat; watch the disco ball rotate and pulse when music plays.
