12-pack 6-inch LED recessed kit

This 12-pack supplies 6-inch LED recessed lights for whole-house or multi-room installations. Each fixture integrates a junction box and spring-clip mounting for retrofit or new-build ceilings. The ultra-thin profile suits spaces with as little as 2 inches of plenum depth. The set is intended for indoor residential and light-commercial use.

Selectable CCT and dimming change daily use

A side switch on each junction box selects 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K so installers can match rooms without ordering separate SKUs. The driver dims 5% to 100% with compatible wall dimmers, which are not included. High CRI above 85 maintains colour fidelity across all five settings.

IC rating and certifications set installation limits

The IC-rated housing permits direct contact with ceiling insulation, removing the need for a clearance box. ETL, UL, FCC and Energy Star listings cover the complete assembly including the integrated junction box. The damp rating allows bathroom or covered-eave placement, but the fixture is not waterproof and must avoid direct water spray. Cutout diameter is 6.29 inches.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminium housing need any cleaning or parts replacement over its five-year warranty period?

The fixture is water-repellent and carries a five-year warranty with no user-serviceable parts; routine dusting of the clear prismatic lens is the only maintenance mentioned.

What is the first thermal limit reached when the 12 W LEDs run continuously in an insulated ceiling?

The IC-rated junction box is thermally protected for direct contact with insulation, so the design limit is the insulation contact rating rather than an over-temperature shutdown.

How much heat and noise does the 0.43 in ultra-thin module produce when left on all day?

The 12 W LED runs flicker-free and silent with 5 %–100 % smooth dimming, and the thin profile dissipates heat through the aluminium body without a fan.
