Rechargeable Motion Sensor Light

The Thomasville Lighting T051 is a battery-powered LED light kit designed for dark areas without mains electricity such as closets, pantries, garages, sheds and stairways. It uses a built-in 6000 mAh battery that charges via USB and offers both motion-activated and manual remote control modes. The magnetic mounting plate allows quick removal for charging without tools or ladders.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

LED technology runs cool and silent so the unit adds no audible fan noise or noticeable heat to small enclosed spaces. In motion sensor mode a full charge lasts 30 to 60 days while constant-on mode provides 6 to 18 hours of continuous light. The 400 lumen output covers 50 to 200 square feet with 10 brightness levels from 10 to 100 percent.

Build Quality And Mounting

The white acrylic housing with clear prismatic glass weighs 0.34 kilograms and measures 12 by 7 by 20 centimeters. A magnetic base attaches to an adhesive metal plate for drill-free installation on flat surfaces while screw holes allow a permanent fix on uneven or peeling walls. The adjustable head directs light at multiple angles and the remote selects three colour temperatures of 3000K 4000K and 6000K.

Questions about this item

How do I install the magnetic mount without the light falling off?

Stick the supplied metal plate to a clean, flat surface with the adhesive stickers, then let the light snap onto it magnetically; if the wall is uneven or prone to peeling, use the screw-mount option instead.

What maintenance will the light need over time?

Recharge the built-in 6000 mAh battery via USB every 30-60 days in motion-sensor mode or every 6-18 hours in constant-on mode; no bulb replacement is required because the LEDs are integrated.

What limits how long the light stays on during continuous use?

In constant-on mode the battery provides 6-18 hours per full charge, so runtime is the first limit you hit under sustained use.
