Magnetic rechargeable ceiling light

The Thomasville Lighting T070 is a battery-powered LED fixture with an 8000mAh cell and magnetic surface mounting. It suits homeowners and renters who need instant illumination in closets, showers, sheds or hallways without wiring. A remote control adds manual switching from a distance.

Replaces wired fixtures and disposable batteries

This kit removes the need for hard-wired ceiling lights or frequent battery swaps in dark, unelectrified spots. The jump is worth it when installation must be non-destructive and the location sees regular but brief visits, such as pantries or stairwells.

Motion range and battery limits

The passive infrared sensor activates between 9 and 16 feet and extinguishes after 20 seconds of no movement. Continuous output lasts 7 to 10 hours per charge while motion-triggered duty cycles extend to 30 to 60 days depending on brightness and traffic.

Questions about this item

How thick is the T070 light kit and will it sit flush on a 7.5 inch ceiling panel?

The unit measures 7.5 L x 7.5 W x .5 H inches so it adds only half an inch of depth and fits a 7.5 inch panel cut-out.

Do I have to drill holes for the magnetic mount or can I just stick it on?

The magnetic base holds without drilling; remove the remote's insulating sheet first, then snap the light onto any ferrous surface.

When will the built-in 8000mAh battery need recharging in motion-sensor mode?

Expect 30 to 60 days between charges in motion-sensor mode depending on activation frequency and brightness level.
