Magnetic rechargeable ceiling light

The Thomasville Lighting TL070 is a battery-powered LED ceiling light with a 6000 mAh rechargeable cell and magnetic mounting. It suits renters, homeowners and RV users who need illumination in closets, hallways, bathrooms or kitchens without wiring. The IP44 rating allows use in damp indoor areas such as showers and laundry rooms. A remote control and adhesive hardware are included for immediate setup.

Low heat silent operation

The LED source draws 2.5 watts at 5 volts and produces 250 lumens, so the fixture remains cool during extended use. No fan or moving parts are present, making operation completely silent. A full charge via USB-C takes 5 hours and delivers up to 8 hours of continuous light or 60 days in motion-sensor mode depending on brightness level. The low power draw minimises recharge frequency.

Remote dimming and colour control

The bundled remote enables stepless dimming from 10 to 100 percent and selection of three colour temperatures: warm, neutral and cool white. Timer functions of 15, 30 or 60 minutes automate switch-off. Two motion modes — darkness-only or 24/7 — extend battery life by activating only when needed. The magnetic base allows quick removal for charging or cleaning without tools.

Questions about this item

How do I install the magnetic mount on a non-metallic ceiling and what step is often missed?

Attach the included iron sheet using the double-sided tape or the two screws, then snap the light onto the sheet; the step often missed is letting the adhesive bond for several minutes before mounting the light.

What maintenance will the 6000 mAh battery need over time?

Recharge via the USB-C cable when runtime drops below the 8-hour continuous or 60-day sensor-mode estimates; the battery is built-in and not user-replaceable.

At what point does the IP44 rating limit use in a steamy shower?

IP44 protects against splashing water but not direct jets or prolonged immersion, so avoid aiming shower spray straight at the lens.
