Immersive RGBW Light Bars

The Thomasville Lighting W1G-N84D kit provides two smart LED light bars that deliver 16 million colours and 27 preset scenes to enrich movies, games and music. A built-in microphone enables dynamic audio sync so lighting reacts to sound from a TV or PC. Voice control through Google Assistant and the Sengled Home app allows hands-free adjustment of brightness, colour and scheduling. Tabletop stands and adhesive backing give flexible placement behind or beside a display.

Suited For And Not Suited For

Buyers wanting plug-and-play ambient lighting that responds to audio and voice commands will find this kit straightforward to set up and use. The 12 W power draw and 240 V AC supply suit typical indoor outlets. Users who need outdoor-rated fixtures, higher lumen output than the 1000–1800 lm range shown for comparable strips, or a Zigbee or Bluetooth-only connection should consider other options.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that determines fit is the Wi-Fi connectivity paired with Google Assistant voice control; if your smart-home ecosystem relies on a different protocol or you require a hub-based Zigbee or Bluetooth link, this kit will not integrate.

Questions about this item

How many watts does the 12-watt LED kit draw during all-day use?

The kit is rated at 12 watts, so continuous operation keeps power draw at that level.

Does the built-in microphone or the 27 preset scenes generate noticeable heat or fan noise?

The unit has no fan and the low 12-watt LED output produces minimal heat; the microphone and scene processing are silent.

Must the buyer already have a 240-volt AC outlet and a Wi-Fi network for voice control via Google Assistant?

Yes, the light bars require a 240 V AC supply and a Wi-Fi connection to enable app and voice features.
