Digital RPG for Xbox One

Chronos: Before the Ashes is a downloadable action-adventure RPG published by THQ for Xbox One. The game follows a hero's lifelong quest to save their homeland from a great evil within a mysterious labyrinth. A unique aging mechanic means each death ages the character by one year, shifting gameplay from youthful agility to magical wisdom. This digital code delivers the full experience directly to the console.

Prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes

This title serves as the prequel to the 2019 release Remnant: From the Ashes, originally launched as a VR exclusive on Oculus Rift where it earned Game Informer's VR Game of the Year award. The jump is worth it for players who want the narrative foundation and core mechanics that preceded the later hit. No physical media is involved, so the upgrade is instant upon redemption.

Suits Xbox owners wanting atmospheric RPG depth

Players who enjoy methodical combat, exploration, and a novel consequence system will find a rewarding single-player campaign. The digital format requires an Xbox One console, an Xbox Live account, and sufficient storage for the download. Buyers who prefer physical cartridges, lack reliable internet for the initial download, or seek multiplayer modes should look at other options.
