High-Output EDC Flashlight

The ThruNite TC15 V3 Cool White is a compact aluminium flashlight delivering up to 2403 lumens and a 732 ft beam from a CREE XHP35.2 LED. It runs on an included rechargeable lithium-ion cell and charges via a built-in USB-C port with a three-colour status indicator. At 122.5 mm long and 74 g it fits comfortably in a pocket or bag.

Everyday Carry Users and Emergency Kits

Hikers, dog walkers, campers and commuters who need a single light for map reading, path finding and emergency signalling will appreciate the six modes from 0.3-lumen Firefly to 2403-lumen Turbo. The IPX8 rating handles submersion to 2 m. Buyers who require multiple swappable batteries, a magnetic tail cap or a dedicated charging cradle should look elsewhere.

Runtime and Brightness Headroom

Firefly mode provides up to 4.6 hours of continuous use while Turbo delivers maximum throw for short bursts before thermal step-down. The 223 m beam distance covers large yards and trail sections. Extended high-output tasks will deplete the single cell quickly and the integrated port means the light cannot be used while charging.

Questions about this item

What power source does the built-in USB-C port on the TC15 V3 require to recharge the customized battery?

Any standard USB-C power source such as a wall adapter, power bank, or laptop port will recharge the internal battery; the color-coded indicator shows red while charging, blue at medium, and green when full.

Will the 27 mm head diameter and 122.5 mm length fit in the same holster or clip I use for older 1-inch lights?

The head measures 27 mm (1.06 in) and the body 23.5 mm (0.93 in), so it matches common 1-inch gear; the included heavy-duty pocket clip and holster are sized for this exact profile.

How can I verify the TC15 V3 is delivering its rated 2403-lumen turbo output after charging?

Double-click the side switch from any mode to activate instant turbo; the beam should reach 223 meters (732 ft) and the indicator will show green if the battery is fully charged.
