Airbus-scale sidestick for PC and VR

The Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition is a 1:1 ergonomic replica of the Airbus sidestick designed for PC and VR flight simulation. It features contactless H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology with 14-bit resolution on pitch and roll axes. The joystick includes an integrated throttle axis with a built-in thrust reverser mechanism and rudder control via handle rotation. It is built for simmers who want authentic Airbus-side stick ergonomics and magnetic precision.

Modular button layout with tool-free swaps

The sidestick ships with four swappable joystick head button modules that snap in place without tools, allowing quick reconfiguration for airliner left or right seat, or centre-stick layouts. Seventeen action buttons feature braille-style physical identification for tactile recognition during VR use. A helical spring with a 2.8 mm diameter provides firm, linear tension. The magnetic sensors have no potentiometers, eliminating wear and drift over time.

Verify USB HID support and desk space

Ensure your simulation software recognises standard USB HID joysticks and allows independent axis mapping for throttle, rudder reverser and the 12 remappable buttons. The unit measures 8.70 x 7.80 x 7.80 inches and weighs 2.00 lbs, so confirm adequate desk clearance for full sidestick travel. It is not suited for builders who need a separate throttle quadrant or a centre-stick base without the integrated throttle assembly.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 14-bit Hall Effect sensors are delivering the full 16384 x 16384 resolution after setup?

Move the stick through its full pitch and roll range while watching the axis calibration window in Windows Game Controllers or your simulator; smooth, jitter-free lines that reach the outer edges confirm the magnetic sensors are operating at their specified precision.

What does the 2960844 package contain and what must I supply myself?

The box includes the TCA Sidestick, four swappable joystick head button modules, and the user manual with warranty information; you will need to provide a PC running a compatible flight simulator and a free USB port for connection.

Which of the four swappable head modules should I choose for an Airbus left-seat airliner setup?

Select the module labelled for the airliner left-seat configuration; the four included modules cover airliner right seat, airliner left seat, small-aircraft narrow centre stick, and large-aircraft centre stick layouts.
