Tiffen 49mm Glimmer Glass 1 Filter Keepsake

The Tiffen 49mm Glimmer Glass 1 Filter Keepsake is a diffusion filter designed to subtly soften fine details and add a mild glow to highlights. It reduces contrast for an enhanced beauty effect suited to portrait and beauty photography. The filter features a distinct silver sparkle visible on the lens front. It is intended for photographers and videographers seeking a flattering look for subjects.

Compatibility check for 49mm filter thread

Before ordering, verify that your lens has a 49mm front filter thread to ensure proper attachment. Confirm the filter size matches your specific lens diameter to avoid fitment issues. No adapter rings or step-up rings are included with this filter. Check your lens specifications for the correct thread size prior to purchase.

Suited for portrait work.

This filter suits portrait and beauty shooters who want a subtle softening effect with highlight glow and reduced contrast. It also appeals to crews who value the visible silver sparkle as a confidence cue on set. Buyers needing maximum edge-to-edge sharpness or unmodified contrast should look at clear protective filters instead. Those requiring stronger diffusion must select a higher-strength Glimmer Glass grade.
