  • High-quality construction built to withstand frequent professional use
  • Grade 1 mist adds subtle ethereal glow to portraits and landscapes
  • Enhances halation for warm depth without altering skin tones

Cinematic Soft Focus Effect

The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1 filter reduces highlights and lowers contrast to create a cinematic soft focus look. Grade 1 mist delivers a subtle softening ideal for portraits and landscapes. It adds ethereal beauty while preserving clarity and skin tone values. The effect mimics a painter's touch with a dreamy, misty halation.

Photographers Seeking Subtle Halation

This filter suits photographers and cinematographers who want a professional halation spill with warm depth. It works well for digital capture where a refined, artistic glow is desired. Shooters needing a stronger, more aggressive bloom should consider higher density grades. Buyers who want a completely neutral, unaltered image should look elsewhere.

39mm Screw-In Mount

The filter uses a 39mm screw-in thread for direct lens attachment. Compatibility depends entirely on matching this thread size to the front of your lens. Verify the lens barrel marking before purchase to ensure a secure fit. No adapter rings or step-up rings are included with this filter.
