85mm Cinema Adapter Ring

The Tilta 85mm Cinema Adapter Ring connects a Mini Clamp-On Matte Box to cinema lenses with an 85mm front diameter. It is built for professional filmmakers and videographers who need a secure, tool-free way to mount matte boxes and filters on set.

Verify lens diameter and matte box model

Before ordering, confirm that your cinema lens has an exact 85mm outside diameter at the front barrel. Also ensure you own or plan to use the Tilta Mini Clamp-On Matte Box, as this ring is designed specifically for that clamp mechanism.

Holds position during extended takes

The ring slides into the matte box clamp and locks onto the lens barrel, maintaining alignment throughout long shooting days. Its robust construction resists loosening from vibration or repeated focus pulls, so the matte box and any attached filters stay fixed without readjustment.
