95mm White Mist Diffusion Filter

The Tilta Illusion 95mm White Mist 1/2 Filter is a diffusion filter crafted from Water White Glass. It reduces contrast and adds a gentle glow around highlights to create a soft, romantic atmosphere while preserving shadow detail. The filter features a double-sided nano coating applied via a 5nm vacuum process for scratch resistance and reduced reflections. It is designed for integration with the Mirage Matte Box ecosystem.

Check Thread Size and Matte Box Compatibility

Verify that your lens or matte box accepts a 95mm filter thread before ordering. The filter’s thickness and weight are optimised for the Mirage Matte Box system, so confirm your setup accommodates its physical dimensions. Ensure you have a clean workspace for installation, as the included storage bag and cleaning cloth are the only accessories provided.

Suited for Cinematic Diffusion Work

This filter suits photographers and videographers who want a pronounced halation effect and lowered contrast for creative storytelling. It is not for shooters who need a neutral protective filter or a subtle strength like 1/4 or 1/8. Buyers requiring rectangular drop-in sizes or different thread diameters should look at other form factors.
