Capacity and configuration
This Timetec kit supplies 16 GB of DDR3L/DDR3 laptop memory across four 4 GB SODIMM modules. It targets users upgrading older notebooks that accept 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMMs and need the maximum capacity their four slots allow.
Dual-voltage flexibility
The modules operate at either 1.35 V or 1.5 V and run at 1600 MHz with CL11 latency, also supporting 1333 MHz at CL9. The jump is worth it when a system currently runs slower DDR3 or has empty slots and the chipset can address the full 16 GB.
Build integration
Each stick measures 30 mm by 67.6 mm and uses the standard 204-pin layout, so it fits typical DDR3 SODIMM sockets without clearance issues. The kit frees all four slots for a single matched set, avoiding mixed-module instability, but it cannot serve boards limited to two slots or to lower maximum capacities.

Questions about this item
Will the 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM modules fit my laptop's memory slots?
These are standard 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM modules measuring 67.6mm long and 30mm high, matching the JEDEC form factor for laptop memory slots.
What is the correct way to install these 4GB modules, and what step is often missed?
Power off the laptop and disconnect the battery if possible; align the notch on the module with the slot key, insert at an angle until the gold contacts are fully seated, then press down evenly until both retention clips snap into place.
When will these dual-rank 2Rx8 modules need replacement or maintenance?
Memory modules are solid-state with no moving parts and require no scheduled maintenance; replacement is only needed if a module fails or if you upgrade to a higher capacity or newer DDR generation.
