2-Bolt Flange Bearing with 1" Bore

The Timken RCJT 1 is a two-bolt flange bearing that uses a ball-bearing insert with a one-inch bore. It suits maintenance teams and OEM assemblers who need a ready-to-mount unit for light-to-medium radial loads on conveyors, fans or agricultural equipment.

Ball insert and two-bolt mounting

The integrated ball insert arrives pre-lubricated and sealed, so no separate bearing press or initial greasing is required. The two-bolt flange pattern lets mechanics fasten the unit directly to a flat surface without machining a pillow-block pocket, reducing installation time on the shop floor.

Cast housing and corrosion resistance

The cast-iron housing provides rigid support and resists deformation under bolt torque, while the protective finish guards against rust in humid or wash-down environments. The sealed insert keeps contaminants out, extending relubrication intervals for crews that run continuous-shift operations.

Questions about this item

Will the nitrile seals and factory grease in this Timken RCJT 1 bearing need periodic replacement?

The nitrile seals and factory-fill grease are designed for the bearing's service life; re-lubrication is not required under normal conditions.

What limits continuous running of the 1" bore ball insert under sustained load?

The dynamic load rating of the ball insert sets the practical limit for continuous operation under sustained load.

How much heat does the two-bolt flange housing generate when running all day?

The cast-iron housing acts as a heat sink, so operating temperature stays close to ambient plus the load-induced rise of the ball insert.
