Owners of the listed 9.7-inch iPad models who want a laptop-style typing experience with trackpad navigation and a protective case. A dedicated Apple Pencil slot and precise cutouts keep ports and buttons accessible.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

Users with any other iPad size or generation, including 9.7-inch Pro, Air or mini models, as the case will not align with their camera, button or port positions. Buyers needing a backlit keyboard, a different language layout or a trackpad that works without enabling AssistiveTouch will not find those features here.

Key Deciding Specification

Compatibility is limited to the four model numbers A1822, A1823, A1893 and A1954. Verify the model number printed on the back of your iPad before purchase; no other 9.7-inch or similarly sized iPad will fit this folio.

Questions about this item

Does the folio require a specific iPad model to work?

Yes, it is built for the iPad 9.7-inch 5th Gen 2017 (A1822, A1823) and 6th Gen 2018 (A1893, A1954) only.

Can the detachable keyboard pair with an older iPad running an earlier iOS version?

The keyboard uses Bluetooth; it will pair with any iPad that supports a Bluetooth keyboard, but the folio itself only fits the 9.7-inch 5th and 6th Gen models.

How can I verify the trackpad is functioning correctly after pairing?

Enable AssistiveTouch in Settings > Touch, then move a finger on the trackpad — a cursor should appear and respond to taps, scrolls and gestures.
