Purple keyboard case for 9.7" iPad

The Timoom folio combines a Bluetooth keyboard, multi-gesture trackpad and pen holder in a single purple cover. It fits 9.7 inch iPad models from 2017 and 2018 including Air, Air 2 and Pro variants. The case adds a laptop-style layout without adding a separate mouse.

Wireless keyboard with 150 mAh battery

Bluetooth connectivity removes cables and the built-in 150 mAh cell charges through the supplied USB cable. Precise cutouts leave the charging port, headphone jack and volume buttons accessible while the tablet sits in the stand. The trackpad handles tap, scroll and swipe gestures for desktop-like control.

Upgrades on-screen typing and separate stands

Replaces a loose keyboard, a stand and a stylus sleeve with one folio that protects the screen when closed. The jump is worth it if you type long documents or navigate iPadOS with gestures daily. Buyers who need a backlit keyboard or a larger screen size should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the Bluetooth keyboard to my iPad 9.7 and what step is often missed?

Turn on the keyboard, open iPad Settings > Bluetooth, and select the device; the step often missed is putting the keyboard into pairing mode with its dedicated key before searching.

What maintenance will the built-in 150 mAh battery need over time?

Recharge it via the included USB cable when the keyboard stops responding; the lithium-ion cell cannot be user-replaced.

At what point does the trackpad stop registering gestures during a long work session?

When the 150 mAh battery runs low the trackpad loses power first, so gestures stop before the keys do.
