Product Identity

The TINGLEY 51254 is a men's knee-high rubber boot with a composite safety toe and a 15 inch shaft. It is built as personal protective equipment for workers who need waterproof foot protection on wet job sites.

Suitability

This boot suits crews who require a non-metallic toe that meets safety standards while staying light and cool. Workers needing insulated liners for cold storage or metatarsal guards for heavy impact zones should look at other models.

Deciding Specification

The composite toe provides certified impact protection without conducting heat or cold like steel. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the rubber compound contains listed chemicals.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the composite toe is protecting me after I put the boots on?

The composite toe meets safety standards for impact and compression; you will feel a firm, non-metallic cap over the toes that does not conduct cold or set off metal detectors.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy liners or insoles separately?

The package contains one pair of 15-inch brown rubber boots with cleated soles in size 3 medium width; no liners or insoles are included, so you may add them if desired.

Should I choose the 15-inch height or a different height for deeper water and mud?

The 15-inch shaft reaches mid-calf on most wearers, giving more splash protection than ankle-height styles while staying lighter than knee-high versions.
