What it is

The Tiny Teethers TC003 is a mint-coloured silicone elephant teether designed for babies who are beginning to teeth. It attaches to an untreated beech wooden clip so the teether stays within reach and off the ground during walks or playtime. A detachable plastic clasp allows easy removal for cleaning or separate use. Safety knots on the cord prevent it from slipping off the clip or the teether end.

Deciding specification

The product complies with CPSIA and the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, confirming it meets regulated safety standards for children's items. The silicone is free from BPA, phthalates, lead, cadmium and other heavy metals. Buyers who need a teether without certified safety testing should look elsewhere.

What the clip and clasp change

The wooden clip secures the teether to clothing or a pram strap, stopping it from being dropped and lost while out. The detachable plastic clasp lets you separate the silicone elephant from the cord for thorough washing with soap and water. The untreated beech clip must not be submerged, as water can cause the wood to expand and crack.
