Purpose-built USB microphone for voice capture

The TKGOU UM6 is a corded USB microphone with an omnidirectional polar pattern and a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. It connects directly to Windows, MacOS or Linux systems without driver installation. A single mute button with an LED indicator provides instant on/off control. The unit is intended for online meetings, classes, video calls, voice recognition and streaming.

Consistent output during long sessions

The microphone maintains a sensitivity of -32 dB ±3 dB across its operating range, so voice level remains steady whether you speak for five minutes or several hours. The built-in noise-canceling filter suppresses background sound continuously rather than only during short bursts. Plug-and-play operation means no software latency or driver updates interrupt extended use. The corded electric supply delivers uninterrupted power without battery fade.

Metal gooseneck and stable base for daily

A 360-degree adjustable metal gooseneck lets you place the capsule exactly where you need it and keeps that position without drifting. The housing combines metal and heavy-duty plastic for rigidity, and the 0.25 kg weight anchors the microphone on a desk. Dimensions of 12 x 10 x 21 cm fit compact workspaces. An anti-pop filter is included, but no stand or additional mounting hardware is supplied. Buyers who need a cardioid pattern for noisy shared rooms or a dedicated boom arm mount will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Does the UM6 get warm or draw much power after hours of use?

It runs on USB bus power so heat and power draw stay negligible even during long sessions.

What does the UM6 need from my computer besides a free USB port?

No extra hardware or drivers are required; it works immediately on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Will the UM6's omnidirectional pickup interfere with my older desktop speakers?

The 360° pattern captures sound all around, so keep speakers behind the mic or lower their volume to avoid feedback.
