The Tolco 1001 is a galvanized steel attachment designed to brace 2-1/2 inch conduit, pipe or threaded rod against sway. It serves contractors and maintenance teams installing fire protection or mechanical piping systems requiring seismic or lateral restraint.

cULus and FM Listed Standards

The brace carries cUL Listed, cULus Listed, FM, OPM and OSHPD approvals for use with Schedule 7 through 40 IPS piping. These listings define the practical limit of the component; it is not rated for schedules outside that range or for unlisted piping materials.

Field Adjustable 4 7/8 in Length

The 4 7/8 inch overall length and 1 43/64 inch width provide adjustment range for typical hanger spacing on 2-1/2 inch runs. Capacity ends where the pipe schedule exceeds Schedule 40 or where the hanger configuration demands a longer drop than the brace allows.
