Tomcat Attractant Gel 1 oz trap

The Tomcat Attractant Gel is a non-toxic rodent bait designed to improve the catch rate of any mechanical mouse or rat trap. Its gel consistency eliminates the mess associated with traditional baits such as cheese or peanut butter. The product is supplied in a 1 oz squeeze bottle ready for immediate use. Homeowners and professionals seeking a safer alternative to poison baits will find this attractant suitable.

1 oz capacity with no-drip nozzle

The 1 oz volume provides enough gel for multiple baiting sessions across several traps. The long nozzle allows precise placement inside snap traps, live traps, or glue boards without dripping onto surrounding surfaces. Once the gel is depleted, the bottle must be replaced as there is no refill option. Users with large infestations requiring daily re-baiting of dozens of traps may exhaust the supply quickly.

Plastic bottle with long applicator spout

The rigid plastic bottle measures 1.38 in by 6.5 in by 3.63 in and fits easily on a shelf or in a tool bag. The extended spout reaches into tight trap mechanisms, reducing the need to handle bait directly. Because the gel is non-toxic, accidental contact with children or pets poses no poisoning risk. The single-pack format means no spare bottle is included for backup.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 oz gel tube fit into the bait cup of my older plastic snap trap?

The gel comes in a no-drip squeeze bottle with a long nozzle that lets you apply a small bead directly into any mechanical trap's bait cup, including older plastic or wooden models.

How can I tell the gel is actually attracting rodents once the trap is set?

Check the trap each morning; if the gel has been licked clean or shows bite marks and the trap has triggered, the attractant is working as intended.

Does the package include a trap or only the 1 oz gel tube?

The box contains one 1 oz Tomcat Attractant Gel tube (model 0362210); a mechanical trap must be purchased separately.
