32 GB SDHC card with USB 2.0 reader

This 32 GB Secure Digital High-Capacity card carries a Class 10 rating and a UHS-1 Class 312 speed class. It is intended for cameras, camcorders, phones, PDAs, MP3 players and tablets that accept SDHC media. The bundle includes a USB 2.0 card reader for direct computer access.

Read 20 MB/s write 15 MB/s

Sequential read performance reaches up to 20 MB/s while write speeds top out at 15 MB/s. The card draws power from the host device and operates silently with no moving parts. Thermal output is negligible during typical photo and video capture sessions.

Bundled USB 2.0 reader

The supplied reader connects via a USB 2.0 port and accepts the SDHC card for file transfers. It requires no extra drivers on modern operating systems and adds no software utilities. The reader simply enables drag-and-drop access to the card’s contents on any compatible host.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the SDHC card into the included USB 2.0 reader, and what is the common mistake?

Slide the card label-side up until it clicks; the mistake is inserting it upside-down or forcing it past the write-protect tab.

What part of this 32GB card will wear out first and need replacement?

The NAND flash cells degrade after many write cycles; the card itself is the only replaceable component.

What speed limit appears first during sustained writes to this Class 10 card?

The 15MB/s write ceiling is reached before the 20MB/s read limit under continuous recording.
